LUCANIA. Sybaris. Circa 550-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 27 mm, 7.87 g, 12 h). YM Bull standing left on dotted ground line, his head turned back to right; all within border of dots. Rev. Bull standing right on dotted ground line, his head turned back to left; all within border of dots; all incuse. HN III 1729. SNG ANS 817. SNG Copenhagen 1390. SNG München 1157. Beautifully toned. Minor graffito on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
